Club Libby Lu Fun

Annie and her friends had so much fun getting makeovers at Club Libby Lu. We went for Annie's birthday. The girls got to dress up, get fun updos, painted nails, makeup, and make lip gloss. Emma didn't take part in the makeovers, but had fun watching and taking it all in. She is easily satisfied. They were all fun to watch, but that did not begin to compare with the fun they had. I think the pictures speak for themselves.

We didn't know about the dress-up part. I think that made her look older than gettin her hair done. The girl helping us asked Annie if she wanted everyone shirts that showed her belly. She said no before I was even in the dressing room (Thank you, Lord). They also went to the front of the store and did a dance and sang in front of everyone. Annie never let on, but when we got home she said, "I wasn't too excited about that part." I was thankful to hear this as well. She's already planning next year's party, but, as I told DeeDee, who graciously went with me, a Club Libby Lu birthday party is not something I would want to do often; probably a one-time deal.

Miss Annie, you are looking too grown up in these photos....but I know it's just dress up so that's OK! So glad you and your friends had so much fun. How nice of your Mom to have this party for you. Emma looks very cute and very happy with her little dress up time. Doug, can you pick out Taylor in the photo? She and Annie are big buddies.

If you are a child born anywhere between 2000 and 2009 then you would have joined a party at Club Libby Lu. It is a chain of sparkly and pink-and-purple wonderlands where cute girls can spend time.
